First Post

How does one come up with the content for a First Post? This could be a defining moment, or just a way to fill in a blank Web Blog. Do I just start rambing, or do I pick a topic and go from there? I may have begun this blog a long time ago if I thought the First Post would be easier. I guess it just comes down to the fact that there has to eventually be a first in order to have a second, third, and even last post. So, here it is. Our First Post:

Welcome to our blog! It’s me, Laura. I am hoping that this will be the start of an ongoing record that will include the seemingly unimportant events that happen in our lives, as well as those landmark events such as babies, moves, new jobs, etc. (not necessarily in that order…)

A few warnings:

1. Blair and I are just not that exciting. Our posts may be incredibly boring. I’ll do my best to embelish the things that do happen, just to make it sound much more interesting. You have been forewarned.

2. I am a huge fan of the “…”. If that is something that bothers you, I am very sorry.

3. There may be some recounting of the past. Like…the next post will probably be about our wedding. The only reason for that is that I’d hate to have a blog about us if it doesn’t begin where our lives together began.

So there we have it. The first post. Check back every so often to see if I’ve kept up with our new Blog.
